Responsibilities
- Reconcile the SilverLake loan system balances, comparing them to the Corporate General Ledger for the various investor accounts
- Upload respective data files to investors and process remittances accordingly
- Review participation loan documentation for accuracy and adherence to compliance and procedure
- Identify errors in calculations and/or missing documentation and write exceptions accordingly
- Refer major violations to the supervisor and/or unit manager
- Review and process all payments from other banks to respective participation loans
- Reconcile with the general ledger as applicable
- Review, process and remit all payments due to participating banks for commercial participation loans
- Reconcile with the general ledger as applicable
- Enter and approve wire transfers for the Loan Operations department
- Aid the Loan Reconcilement team with daily balancing and responsibilities during staff absences
- Communicate with other departments, branches, lenders, investors, and participating banks regarding exception issues as they arise
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent relative work experience preferred
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Excel
- Experience working knowledge of required documentation for all loan types
