Market Representative
About the role
Cambria is seeking a sales and relationship-driven individual to join our team in Northern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will develop, cultivate, and grow sales of Cambria throughout their assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with fabricators, installers, kitchen and bath dealers, interior designers, builders, remodelers, architects, and key business influencers
- Network actively with industry associations like the National Kitchen and Bath Association and International Interior Design Association to drive sales
- Sell Cambria by effectively servicing local business partners and proactively planning and scheduling sales calls
- Maintain a high level of business and financial expertise to advise partners effectively
- Collect and update customer and commercial project information accurately through Salesforce and the Commercial Nerve Center
- Collaborate with Market Reps to provide samples and update product libraries
- Educate business partners, architects, and designers on product attributes and the brand's history
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory codes, and actively engage in social media channels to promote the brand and product
- Be available to meet with customers daily, including over meals or at events, sometimes outside normal business hours
- Travel within the assigned territory to build and continue relationships with new and existing customers
- Submit expense invoices for reimbursement on a timely basis
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in the architectural and design industry
- Previous B to B Sales experience
- Strong business knowledge and financial acumen
- Proven track record of being customer-focused with a professional demeanor
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Superior organizational and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibility
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software, Concur, and Salesforce
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in business to business sales, marketing, or interior design
Additional Requirements
- Travel Requirements: 90% local travel to customers, 10% to trade shows, associations, and trips to Minnesota for training. Must be able to work extended hours, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to deliver samples and trade show materials.
Pay & Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is $80,133 - $107,220. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position will be provided a branded company vehicle, based on fleet availability, or temporary mileage reimbursement in lieu until a vehicle becomes available.
