Duration: 13 weeks | Shift: Night Shift, 09:00 PM – 07:00 AM
About the Unit
- 408-bed hospital with 14 operating rooms (1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto, 12 multipurpose ORs)
- 60 FTE staff: OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, Tech Service Line Coordinators, Clinical Charge RNs, Director, VP
- Day Shift: 14–16 RNs, 14–16 CSTs, 2 Clinical Charge RNs
- Night Shift: 1 Clinical Charge RN, 1 OR RN, 1 CST (with call teams for Neuro, CVOR, and General)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Standard OR equipment, Stryker Video systems
- EMR: Meditech
Responsibilities
- Perform typical procedures: angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, ortho/spine (no transplant procedures)
- On-call requirements: 5 PM – 7 PM one day per week and one weekend every 6 weeks if the SSC Ortho doctor is on call
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Circulate and scrubbing experience (preferred)
- Meditech experience (preferred)
