RN - OR - Travel

Duties

• Assess and deliver patient care from Pediatric to Geriatric stages.
• Perform direct patient care activities, demonstrating knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation, taking responsibility for the nursing process.
• Practice professionalism, responding professionally to patients, families, and colleagues, and fostering a patient-centered environment.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and use safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Individualize patient care according to surgical procedures and anesthesia types.
• Prioritize patient care based on needs and condition changes.
• Perform pre-operative and postoperative assessments and provide patient education.
• Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.
• Work in specialties such as Ortho, neuro, vascular, and robotic surgery.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
