Duties

• Assessment Skills: Deliver patient care across all stages of growth from Pediatric to Geriatric with systematic and comprehensive assessments.
• Clinical Skills: Provide competent nursing care, support patient care delivery, and demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of nursing processes and patient progress, including education.
• Professionalism: Uphold professional practice standards and identify areas for clinical growth.
• Patient Satisfaction: Ensure a positive environment focused on patient and family-centered care while maintaining confidentiality.
• Safety: Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and use safe transfer techniques.
• Unit Specific Function: Provide individualized care for surgical patients based on procedures and anesthesia types.
• Responsibility and Accountability: Direct patient care by prioritizing needs and adapting to changes in condition.
• Patient Education and Chart Completion: Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and perform assessments.

Responsibilities

• Duties Specific to PAT RN: Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.

Skills

• 3 years experience
• BLS - Required
• RN License - Required
• CNOR - Preferred

Schedule

7a - 8p. Must be able to circulate and scrub.

Experience

• Experience in Ortho, robotics, neuro, etc. is required.
