About the Unit

Number of Beds: 284
Number of Staff: 55

• Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech (can vary)
• Night Shift: 1 RN, 1 Tech, 2 RNs on-call, and 2 Techs on-call

Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2 (estimated, never guaranteed)
Type of equipment: DaVinci Robotics
EMR: Meditech / CPN

Responsibilities

• Perform typical procedures including Vascular/Hybrid OR, Trauma, and Neuro
• Adhere to unit guidelines, including a 30-minute response time for on-call shifts
• On-call availability from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday (no overnight required)

Requirements

Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Experience in large Trauma OR facilities
• Robotics experience (highly preferred; priority given to candidates with this experience)
• Prior Meditech experience
