Seasonal Scale Operator

About the role

This position involves operating a grain elevator scale, weighing and grading inbound and outbound grain, and issuing scale tickets. You will provide excellent customer service, collaborate with team members, and perform administrative tasks such as running reports and maintaining equipment accuracy.

The role requires adherence to safety policies, maintaining a clean work environment, and performing physical duties including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain elevator scale and weigh inbound/outbound grain
• Grade grain and issue scale tickets
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members
• Run reports and maintain equipment accuracy
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency in English
• Basic computer skills
• Physical ability to handle demanding tasks, including working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Experience in production environments

Pay

$18.50 per hour with a $2000 sign-on bonus.
