Seasonal Scale Operator

About the Role

This role involves operating grain elevator equipment, weighing and grading inbound and outbound grain, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include administrative tasks such as reporting, balancing statements, and equipment cross-checks, while ensuring compliance with safety policies and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain elevator scales and handle grain transactions
• Deliver courteous and knowledgeable customer service
• Perform administrative and reporting tasks
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe workspace
• Support team and perform additional assigned duties

Requirements

• Legal to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Minimum 18 years old
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in various conditions with PPE
• Capable of working at heights (4 feet+), bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and twisting
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience in production environments
