Seasonal Retail Consultant | Aesop Upper West Side | Part Time

As a Seasonal Retail Consultant, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional customer experiences, sharing Aesop’s unique brand values through authentic conversations and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers through genuine, personalized conversations and understand their needs
• Craft exceptional and personalized customer journeys, from warm welcome to thoughtful product demonstrations and regimen building
• Confidently lead customers to the sink/fragrance area, demonstrating recommended products on the customer’s hand
• Ensure a memorable customer departure by building lasting relationships, offering full regimens or samples, and inviting them to return
• Embody Aesop’s values in all actions and seek continuous improvement
• Adhere to Aesop’s grooming guidelines and uphold retail standards, ensuring the "five senses" experience is consistently delivered
• Complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks diligently

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally within retail or hospitality
• A merchant mindset, both customer-focused and commercially driven
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations
• A deep passion for selling premium products and an excitement for Aesop’s offerings, including skincare and fragrance
• Ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

Schedule

This is a contract position with an end date of January 16, 2027. Candidates must be available between November 1 and January 16, 2027. Vacation will not be accommodated during this time, and full availability will be required during specific weekend dates.

Pay

Hourly rate of $21.50
