Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Master storytelling to connect with customers, understand their needs, and recommend products that fit their world; craft a personalized journey from warm welcome to thoughtful product demonstrations and regimen building; confidently lead customers to the sink/fragrance area, demonstrating recommended products on their hand; ensure a memorable departure by building lasting relationships through attentive service, offering full regimens and samples, and inviting customers to return.
• Retail Essentials: Adhere to Aesop’s grooming guidelines and uphold retail standards, ensuring the "five senses" experience is consistently delivered; diligently complete stock, inventory, and store presentation tasks.

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a customer-focused team, ideally within retail or hospitality, with a keen eye for detail in selling and delivering tailored experiences.
• A merchant mindset, both customer-focused and commercially driven.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in tactile product demonstrations.
• A deep passion for selling premium products and an excitement for Aesop's offerings, including skincare and fragrance.
• Physical ability to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.

Schedule

This is a contract position with an end date of January 16, 2027. Candidates must be available between November 1 and January 16, 2027; vacation will not be accommodated during this time. Full availability will be required during specific weekend dates.

Pay

Hourly rate of $21.50
