RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Cares for park grounds, sports fields, irrigation systems, trails, open space, urban forestry.
- Maintains and cleans restrooms and pavilions.
- Helps with events (some weekends).
Requirements
- Experience preferred in caring for grounds with a wide range of skills, including general landscaping and irrigation work.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Able to communicate.
- Able to learn to operate and maintain maintenance equipment such as mowers, chain saws, pruning equipment, and hand tools.
- Able to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers, and the public.
- Must pass a background and drug test.
- Must be 16 years old or older (Preference will be given to applicants 18 and older with a valid driver's license).
Benefits
- Hours range from 6 am to 4:30 pm (Schedule to be determined at interview).
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday OR Friday - Sunday.
Pay
$14.21 - $17.05 (depending on experience)
