About the role

Target is hiring seasonal specialists across several areas, including Guest Advocate, General Merchandise Expert, Fulfillment Expert, Style Consultant, Inbound Expert, Food & Beverage Expert, and Tech Consultant. These roles involve active selling, visual merchandising, guest interaction, product stocking, and ensuring a consistent, welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising.
• Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations, handling guest interactions and recoveries.
• Ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds and climbing ladders as needed.
• Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and meet sales goals.
• Work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining attention to detail and following multi‑step processes.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $16.25 USD per hour.
