Seasonal Gardener/Laborer - Parks

About the role

The Town of Brookline Parks and Open Space Division is looking for motivated Seasonal Gardener/Laborers to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment while contributing to the beautification and maintenance of our local parks, green spaces, and public grounds.

Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns and fields to maintain clean, inviting spaces
• Raking, weeding, and hedge trimming for the perfect manicured look
• Cleaning restrooms to ensure the parks are welcoming for all visitors
• Laying mulch and removing invasive vegetation to help maintain ecological balance
• Improving trails and enhancing park features to support outdoor recreation
• Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers to beautify green spaces for the community

Requirements

• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in all types of weather conditions
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and using hand and power tools

Qualifications

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor work is a plus!
