About the role
The Seasonal Chef Instructor will be responsible for teaching cooking classes to customers at Sur La Table in Albany, NY.
Responsibilities
- Teach cooking classes to customers
- Engage with customers to provide personalized cooking experiences
- Ensure all food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are met
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen space
Requirements
- Must have a culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Experience teaching cooking classes is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and recipes
- Experience with food preparation and presentation
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
