About the role
This position is responsible for accurately operating the time clock and scoresheet, performing DJ duties, and making public-address announcements. The Scorekeeper keeps score for the assigned game and accurately reports results. Games typically last approximately 1.5 hours. Additional tasks may include videography, ushering, penalty box attendant duties, DJ/music management, announcing, and other responsibilities as assigned for scheduled games or special events.
Responsibilities
- Manage the time clock per game
- Maintain score of assigned games and accurately report
- Operate the PA system for public announcements and DJ duties
- Act as an usher during special events
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly; escalate when appropriate
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of hockey preferred

Pay
$16.00 per hour
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This role operates in both an office setting and a live events environment. Live event coverage may involve exposure to loud stadium noises and crowds. The candidate must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes up to 20 pounds.
