Requirements / Qualifications

• Appropriate California Credential for subject/grade level (Single Subject-Science/Biology) is required.
• At least one of the following authorizations to teach English Learners is required: CTEL, CLAD, BCLAD, AB2913 training (formerly SB395 OR SB1969) or SB2042 EL Authorization.
• Applicants who do not have a valid credential the first day of the school year will not be considered.
• 30-day Substitute Credentials are NOT valid credentials for contracted positions in our District.
