About the role
The High School Science teacher will focus on teaching chemistry, physics, and engineering to students.
Responsibilities
- Teach chemistry, physics, and engineering courses to high school students
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Ohio standards
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom
- Mentor and support student development outside of the classroom through extra-curricular activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university
- Appropriate state of Ohio certification/licensure
- Credentials in College Credit Plus preferred
Qualifications
- Strong background in chemistry, physics, and engineering
- Experience in teaching high school level courses
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support student success
