School Social Worker - $50 per hour

We’re hiring a Social Worker to work at a school in Charlotte, Michigan. As a Social Worker with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a Social Worker working in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Promote the general well-being of students
• Work with outside agencies to provide support to families
• Offer mentoring and suggestions for Teachers and other school personnel
• Develop and provide crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
• Work to maximize coping skills for students in difficult situations

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or state specific professional educator license must meet position requirements
• Previous pediatric experience preferred

Pay

$46.10 - $49.65 per hour

Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 35 hours per week
• Shift: 7 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract
