About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Social Work School Social Worker for a local contract position in Highland, Michigan. The assignment is a 13‑week (or 15‑week) contract, 35 hours per week, 7‑hour shifts, days.

Responsibilities

• Promote the general well‑being of students.
• Work with outside agencies to provide support to families.
• Offer mentoring and suggestions for teachers and other school personnel.
• Develop and provide crisis intervention strategies to improve student success.
• Help students maximize coping skills in difficult situations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Current social worker license/certification (e.g., LCSW, LMSW) or state‑specific professional educator license as required for the position.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred.
