Supplemental Health Care partners with school districts nationwide to hire school professionals. This role supports a school in Ionia, Michigan, promoting student well-being, collaborating with outside agencies, mentoring staff, and providing crisis intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

• Promote the general well-being of students
• Work with outside agencies to provide support to families
• Offer mentoring and suggestions for teachers and school personnel
• Develop and provide crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
• Help students maximize coping skills in difficult situations

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or a state-specific professional educator license that meets position requirements
• Previous pediatric experience preferred

Pay

$45.30 - $48.80 per hour

Schedule

• 13-week contract (43-week contracts mentioned)
• 32 hours per week
• 6-hour shifts, days
