Social Work - School Social Worker - $50 per hour
Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Social Worker for a local contract position in Charlotte, Michigan.
About the Role
Supplemental Health Care partners with schools nationwide to hire school professionals. We are currently working with a school in Charlotte, Michigan to fill this Social Worker position. The role involves promoting student well-being, collaborating with outside agencies, mentoring school personnel, developing crisis intervention strategies, and helping students build coping skills.
Responsibilities
- Promote the general well-being of students
- Work with outside agencies to provide support to families
- Offer mentoring and suggestions for Teachers and other school personnel
- Develop and provide crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
- Help students maximize coping skills in difficult situations
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Social worker license/certification such as LCSW, LMSW, or state-specific professional educator license that meets position requirements
- Previous pediatric experience preferred
Pay
$46.10 - $49.65 per hour
Schedule
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks (42-week contract)
- 35 hours per week
- 7-hour shifts, days
