School Social Worker - $45 per hour

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a School Social Worker for a local contract position in Reading, Pennsylvania. The role involves 22.5 hours per week (4‑hour shifts) with an ASAP start and a 13‑week duration.

Responsibilities

• Promote the general well‑being of students.
• Work with outside agencies to provide support to families.
• Offer mentoring and suggestions to teachers and other school personnel.
• Develop and provide crisis intervention strategies to improve student success.
• Help students maximize coping skills in difficult situations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Current social work license/certification (e.g., LCSW, LMSW) or state‑specific professional educator license meeting position requirements.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred.
