About the Role

iDEAL Hire is seeking a School Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is with an innovative school committed to transforming education for urban students. The position starts immediately, lasts for 2 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding academic and character education to elementary-aged students in an urban setting.
• Collaborate with a team of high performers to improve student achievement.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid TN Teaching Certification for grades K-12 or K-5.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students.
• Demonstrated success in improving student achievement.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for urban education and making a meaningful impact.
