About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in Frederick, Maryland. The position is available now and will last for 41 weeks at 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Providing one-on-one and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Maintaining detailed documentation of student progress and communication with team members
- Collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Monitoring and adjusting instructional strategies based on student data and progress
Requirements
- Valid license required
- School-based experience preferred

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a valid Special Education Teacher license and willingness to obtain state licensure. Two years of experience as a Special Education Teacher are preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively, and proficiency in educational technology are beneficial.
