Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract job in Glenwood, Illinois.
Position Overview
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support to elementary students with diverse learning needs in resource and self-contained classroom settings.
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies aligned with student goals and learning objectives.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to monitor progress and support positive student outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive, structured classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred).
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
- Experience teaching special education students in elementary resource or self-contained classroom settings preferred.
