School Services - School Special Education Teacher - $40-50 per hour

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Special Education Teacher for a local contract position in Kansas City, Kansas, supporting students across early childhood, elementary, and secondary settings for the 2026–2027 school year.

About the role

• Full-time and part-time options available
• Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM–3:30 PM (varies by school)
• In-person only, August 2026–May 2027 (41 weeks)
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Small classroom settings with individualized instruction and support
• School locations to be determined

Pay

$40–$50+ per hour

Requirements

• Valid Kansas Teaching License or plan for obtaining licensure
• Valid Kansas Special Education endorsement
• Special education experience preferred
• Experience with IEPs, positive behavior supports, data collection, and collaboration with school teams is a plus
