Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary and high school students with diverse learning needs across Resource, Significant Support Needs (SSN), and transition settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting instruction and assessments to meet individual student goals and abilities.
• Collaborate with families, educators, related service providers, and school teams to support academic, behavioral, functional, and transition-related outcomes.
• Maintain accurate student documentation and progress data while fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Active Colorado Teacher License with a Special Education Generalist (Ages 5–21) endorsement
• Experience working in high school Resource classrooms preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and special education practices highly valued
