School Services - School Occupational Therapist - $2,412 per week

About the Role

A great School is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their growing team for a 13-week contract assignment in New York, New York. This is a travel position with a start date as soon as possible, offering 30 hours per week, 6-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including evaluating their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined by the patient’s capacity and tolerance, under the direction of a physician.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record their condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate occupational therapy methods.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 6-hour shifts and 30 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
