About the Role

PediaStaff, a division of AHS Staffing, is seeking a full-time School Occupational Therapist for a rewarding travel assignment in Tacoma, WA. As a pediatric OT, you will help students develop fine motor skills, adapt to physical or cognitive challenges, and access appropriate educational tools and techniques. This role offers the opportunity to work with 40–45 students in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodations or modifications.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid Washington state license
