About the role

Body to Brain Learning offers courses and professional learning programs for practitioners, educators, and parents. These programs provide a neurodevelopmental perspective on learning, focusing on the body-brain connection and its impact on learning success.

Responsibilities

• Explain the neurodevelopmental foundations of learning to clients and stakeholders.
• Offer practical insights into body-brain learning connections, neuromotor development, and sensory system maturity.
• Support educators and school leaders in understanding learning challenges and developing strategies to address them.
• Provide ongoing support and mentoring for neurodevelopmental practitioners.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of neurodevelopmental science and its applications in education.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Experience in working with clients, educators, and school leaders.
• Interest in supporting the development of neurodevelopmental practices and approaches.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field such as education, psychology, or neuroscience.
• Experience in working with children and adults who struggle with learning challenges.
• Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and inclusive education practices.
• Understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple and engaging way.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with diverse populations.
