About the role

Body to Brain Learning offers courses and professional learning programs for educators, practitioners, and parents. These programs provide a neurodevelopmental perspective on learning and offer tools and strategies to support students' learning challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear, practical explanations of how early movement patterns influence learning success.
  • Translate complex research into clear, practical insights that classroom teachers can use straight away.
  • Offer a new framework for understanding learning grounded in neurodevelopmental science.
  • Support educators, school leaders, and parents in understanding the importance of the body to brain connections that shape learning experiences.
  • Implement non-invasive daily activities based on principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and neuroplasticity to address neuro-motor and sensory immaturity.

Requirements

  • A solid understanding of neurodevelopmental science.
  • Experience in working with children and adults who struggle with learning challenges.
  • The ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
  • An interest in supporting students' learning through a neurodevelopmental lens.

Qualifications

  • A degree in a relevant field such as education, psychology, or neuroscience.
  • Experience in working with children and adults who struggle with learning challenges.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest research in neurodevelopmental science.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
  • Experience with sensory and motor assessments.
  • Understanding of the Brainbow® framework.
