Responsibilities

  • Builds awareness of the school and understands how to communicate effectively to families and community stakeholders.
  • Develops, updates, and modifies marketing plans, collaborating with the school and state teams to stay within budget.
  • Identifies and collaborates with community organizations to enhance the school's reputation and awareness.
  • Generates conversion of family interest into ultimate application and enrollment through various strategies and events.
  • Manages application and registration, developing and implementing strategies to exceed enrollment targets.
  • Improves retention, loyalty, and advocacy by executing retention strategies and family communication campaigns.
  • Maintains a marketing and enrollment team to support the school's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 2-year college degree or equivalent experience (required)
  • Previous sales or marketing background (highly desired)
  • Previous School Enrollment Manager, Registrar, or equivalent experience (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience in social media and digital marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Excellent customer service, organization, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work with students, parents, and staff
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
  • Detail-oriented and bilingual is a plus

Skills

  • Strategic use of insights and metrics from social media and digital marketing
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office, Student Information System (SIS), CRM, Adobe Acrobat, and Canva
  • Adaptable to incorporating emerging software technology
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local requirements for K-12 schools and charter school law (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing
  • Proactive, takes initiative, thinks creatively, drives projects to completion, insists on the highest level of quality
