Responsibilities

  • Builds awareness of the school and communicates its identity, mission, and vision to families and community stakeholders.
  • Develops and implements marketing plans, collaborating with the state and national marketing and enrollment teams.
  • Identifies and collaborates with community organizations to enhance the school's reputation and awareness.
  • Generates conversion of family interest into applications and enrollment through various strategies and events.
  • Manages the application pipeline, ensuring enrollment policies and processes are followed, and maintains a waitlist.
  • Engages in retention strategies to improve student start rates and minimize withdrawals.
  • Coordinates with the school team to support the start of the year, pre-first day activities, and warm body counts.
  • Collaborates with the school leadership to develop and execute advocacy strategies.

Qualifications

  • 2-year college degree or equivalent experience (required)
  • Previous sales or marketing background is highly desired
  • Previous School Enrollment Manager, Registrar, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in social media and digital marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Excellent customer service, organization, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to present a professional office with great customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and collaborative nature
  • Detail-oriented and bilingual is a plus

Skills

  • Strategic use of insights and metrics from social media
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office, Student Information System (SIS), CRM, Adobe Acrobat, and Canva
  • Adapts to emerging software technology
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and local requirements for K-12 schools and charter school law preferred
  • Excellent communication skills: oral (including presentations), written, interpersonal (active listening), negotiating, and influencing
  • Proactive, takes initiative, thinks creatively, drives projects to completion, insists on the highest level of quality
