School Age Care Assistant - Shull Elementary

About the role

Under supervision, assist in planning and supervising the activities of school aged children enrolled in an extended day child care program; perform related work as required.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 5 hours per day
• 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Requirements

• Graduation from high school
• Training in early childhood education is desirable
• Experience and/or training in pre-school or early child care programs

Qualifications

Candidate must meet ONE of the following:

• Two years of college (48 units)
• Associate of Arts Degree or higher
• Passage of the CBEST exam
• Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction

Pay

• $18.97 – $22.99 per hour
