School Age Care Assistant - Gladstone Elementary
This position is only available to current employees of Bonita Unified School District. Applications submitted by job seekers not currently employed by the school district will not be considered.
About the role
Under supervision, assist in planning and supervising the activities of school-aged children enrolled in an extended day child care program; perform related work as required.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day (split shift): 6:30 am - 8:30 am & 11:30 am - 5:30 pm at Gladstone Elementary.
Pay
Salary range: $18.97 - $22.99 per hour (Salary Range 15).
Requirements
Any combination equivalent to:
- Graduation from high school
- Training in early childhood education is desirable
- Experience and/or training in pre-school or early child care programs
Candidate must also meet one of the following requirements:
- Two years of college (48 units)
- A.A. Degree (or higher)
- Passage of the CBEST exam
- Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction
