School Age Care Assistant - Oak Mesa Elementary

Responsibilities

Under supervision, assist in planning and supervising the activities of school aged children enrolled in an extended day child care program; perform related work as required.

Requirements

Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school; training in early childhood education is desirable; and experience and/or training in pre-school or early child care programs. Candidate must also meet ONE of the following requirements: (a) Two years of college (48 units), or (b) A.A. Degree (or higher), or (c) Passage of the CBEST exam, or (d) Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. Pay

Salary range: $19.35 - $23.45 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time, school year schedule: 8.0 hours per day, Monday‑Friday, split shift 6:30 am‑8:30 am and 11:30 am‑5:30 pm.
