School Age Care Assistant - Ramona Middle School

About the role

Under supervision, assist in planning and supervising the activities of school aged children enrolled in an extended day child care program; perform related work as required.

Requirements

• Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school; training in early childhood education is desirable; and experience and/or training in pre-school or early child care programs.
• Candidate must also meet ONE of the following requirements:
  • Two years of college (48 units), or
  • A.A. Degree (or higher), or
  • Passage of the CBEST exam, or
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.

Pay

Salary Pay Range: $19.35 - $23.45 Per Hour

Schedule

Ramona Middle School: Monday - Friday 6.2 hours per day Split Shift M - F Hours 6:30 am - 9:30 am & 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm; 1st & 3rd Wednesday 6:30 am - 9:00 am & 12:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
