Scheduling Specialist (Ophthalmology)

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduling Specialist. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling of appointments for our patients. Scheduled weekly hours: 40 (full-time). Shift: Monday–Friday, hours typically between 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Location: Onalaska or La Crosse, WI for training; remote eligible after training. Department: Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, creating positive first and last impressions.
• Partner with providers, medical professionals, and managers to support patient health journeys.
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in an office setting with customer service responsibilities.
• Strong organization, phone etiquette, and customer service skills.
• Medical terminology and healthcare experience is a plus.
• Epic and healthcare systems experience desired.

Pay

Starting pay of $17.93/hour, with higher rates based on experience.
