Scheduling Specialist responsible for managing patient referrals and visit schedules in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize an automated scheduling system to coordinate services for episodic and per-visit patients.
• Process workflow for scheduled, missed, rescheduled, declined, and completed visits.
• Monitor pending referrals and assign appropriate professionals for start-of-care visits.
• Communicate daily with field staff regarding visit statuses to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with team leaders to match patient needs with clinician skills and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of healthcare scheduling experience using an online system.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, customer service, and decision-making skills.
• Preferred knowledge of regulations related to OASIS visits and reassessments.
