Scheduling Specialist II

Job Duties

• Mets daily and monthly quotas for scheduling and rescheduling new and established patients following trained guidelines and procedures within EMR "Epic system".
• Mets daily and monthly quotas for full registration following trained guidelines and procedures with in EMR “Epic system”.
• Folows trained guidelines and procedures for inputting and verifying insurance of new and returning patients utilizing EMR.
• Provides excellent customer service interactions utilizing trained College-wide patient experience tools.
• Folows trained guidelines when utilizing telephony tools.
• Mets monthly and daily quotas for MyChart.
• Responsible for all other patient access scheduling and registration workflows.
• Manages internal rescheduling requests which average over 6,000 a month and manages MyChart requests with an expected turnaround time of two business days.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

  Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • One year of relevant experience.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of call center patient access experience.
  • Experience in Epic EMR.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
