Scheduling Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Monitor scheduler productivity and prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
  • Support, coach, and train Scheduling team members to ensure quality and productivity goals are met.
  • Aid in onboarding and training new Scheduling and Call Center employees.
  • Handle escalated scheduling and customer service issues.
  • Identify workflow challenges and recommend process improvements.
  • Assign and monitor daily work to ensure timely completion.
  • Afford assistance with employee timekeeping, PTO requests, and departmental projects.
  • Support coordination of hospital agreements for ancillary testing.

Qualifications

  • Previous healthcare scheduling, medical office, or call center experience required.
  • Ledgers, training, or mentoring experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
