Scheduler - Patient Access

About the role

The Scheduler will facilitate the flow of information between patients, referral sources, providers/prescribers and Aspire services for the purpose of scheduling patient appointments. The scheduler will handle a large volume of calls and be the first point of contact for individuals seeking service with Aspire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the flow of information between patients, referral sources, providers/prescribers and Aspire services to schedule patient appointments.
• Handle a high volume of incoming calls.
• Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in healthcare required; medical office experience highly preferred.
• Previous insurance billing experience highly preferred.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
