Qualifications
- Flexibility: Ability to travel between all 6 North office locations as required.
- Adaptability: A fast learner who can quickly adapt to the specific workflows and software used at different locations.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Aid with high call volume.
- Maintain physicians' schedules – scheduling office visits and procedures (may be done via phone or face-to-face).
- Triage call messages for medical staff.
- View patient visit notes, identify problems & diagnoses, and physician orders.
- Absorb patient registrations and financial transactions.
- Schedule radiology/lab services, including recall scheduling.
- Assist with check-in and check-out of patients.
- Aid in collecting patient and insurance payments and reconcile charges on a daily basis.
- File records in appropriate sections of patient charts in EMR.
- Prepare patient charts in advance and scan documents into charts in EMR.
Requirements
- For Level III Status: Should be a leader and viewed as a leader by other staff.
- No performance or disciplinary actions in the last year.
- Serves as a mentor/trainer for new hires in the field.
- Considered as a subject-matter expert in areas by peers, management, and physicians.
