Scheduler-Groveport Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules for our high-speed manufacturing operations. This is a highly visible, on-site role that works directly with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to ensure manufacturing lines are optimized, customer commitments are met, and schedule disruptions are resolved quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for multiple manufacturing lines.
• Sequence production orders to maximize line efficiency, labor utilization, and customer service performance.
• Monitor schedule adherence and make real-time adjustments in response to equipment downtime, material constraints, staffing issues, and changing priorities.
• Work directly with Operations Leadership to ensure schedules are achievable and aligned with capacity.
• Balance customer demand with manufacturing capabilities while minimizing changeovers and production disruptions.
• Release and manage production orders within an ERP system.
• Participate in production meetings and communicate schedule changes to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or operations scheduling.
• Experience scheduling production in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working directly with production teams on the manufacturing floor.
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems to manage production schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing, packaging, consumer products, cosmetics, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
• Understanding of production capacity planning, line utilization, and manufacturing constraints.
• Experience working in SAP production planning modules.
