About the role

As a Supply Chain Scheduler/Logistics Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Following up the Material Planning System (MPS) achievement and proposing preventive actions regarding material availability to ensure MPS realization.
  • Setting up proper raw materials and components inventory levels.
  • Defining and leading actions connected with inventory reductions for components families.
  • Measuring the Supplier Service Rate (SSR) for each supplier and proposing action plans to improve the service level.
  • Making sure that the materials and components are available to meet the complete customer demand.
  • Planning raw materials and components requirements based on Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning and Master Production Schedule, and anticipating potential impacts with suppliers and production.
  • Validating and sending weekly forecasts to suppliers.
  • Making sure that raw materials and components are available to meet customer demand.
  • Following up daily the material arrivals according to firm orders and making sure suppliers ship parts on time according to firm orders.
  • Communicating complete, precise, and reliable information to Supplier contacts.
  • Adapting the chosen method of communication to the level of the Supplier contact and adjusting the frequency to the situation (preventative, curative, crisis).
  • Identifying blocking points and planning appropriate quick actions to solve them.
  • Attending Logistics/Purchasing meetings and following up related action plans.
  • Promoting the action plan in case of material shortages with team support and communicating the action plan to Customer Support.
  • Implementing with appropriate departments (APU, Logistics, Purchasing, VPS) tools and methods to improve the supply chain organization like Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, Milk run.
  • Defining inbound transportation plans with the External flow analyst.
  • Supporting inventory counting and proposing actions to maintain inventory accuracy in cooperation with the ERP and inventory control analyst.
  • Alerting sales in the event of a crisis (Customer or internal), to define priorities with the Customer & internally (management, VS for the aftermarket), following the evolution of any associated action plans. If necessary, escalating.
  • Making sure that there is a backup for each Supplier and training the backup on managing the Supplier's account; ensuring that during holidays the position is covered and that both suppliers and internal customers are notified in advance of the absence and informed of the person that will be temporarily managing the Supplier's account.

Requirements

  • An Associates or Bachelor’s degree OR experience in lieu of a formal degree.
  • 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain and/or Logistics, MRP/ERP systems at a high-speed manufacturing plant.
  • Familiarity with CBP.
  • Experience within an international company.
  • Experience with Excel and Google applications.
  • Knowledge of Just-In-Time Systems.
  • Experience with SAP.

Qualifications
