Scheduler Central
About the role
A centralized scheduler who accurately schedules patients in various systems for departments within the health system. Confirms patient demographics, prescriptions and/or orders, insurance information and preps/instructions. This person will perform a mini registration to check for eligiblity and has knowledge of insurance rules.
Responsibilities
- Answers incoming calls for all the depts, directing and screening them accordingly.
- Reaches out to patients and providers as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Less than one year of work experience
