Sanitation Tech (2nd shift)

About the role

The Sanitation Tech is responsible for keeping buildings clean and orderly, performing heavy cleaning duties, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and complete sanitation functions ensuring environmental procedures are followed
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sanitation
• Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment
• Perform daily concentration checks on cleaning chemicals
• Perform daily hygiene checks
• Confer with management and production personnel on sanitation issues and recommend changes to improve sanitation standards
• Adequately ensure cleaning activities do not pose contamination risks to products
• Ensure proper waste removal practices are followed
• Adequately ensure dedicated cleaning tools are used in the appropriate locations
• Adequately adhere to all safety and GMP policies

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English language, written and spoken
• Ability to be a self-starter and perform without full-time supervision
• Teamwork-oriented
• Time management skills
• Must be responsible and self-managed
• Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
• Independent worker capable of planning and prioritizing workflow
• Strong attention to detail

Education and Experience

• High school diploma/GED required
• 1-3 years of experience
