Responsibilities

  • Sanitation Execution
    • Independently execute sanitation protocols for production equipment, machinery, and facility areas
    • Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment in accordance with SOPs
    • Accurately mix and use sanitation chemicals according to safety and usage guidelines
  • Monitoring & Compliance
    • Conduct routine inspections and identify sanitation issues or maintenance needs
    • Maintain accurate cleaning logs, checklists, and sanitation documentation
    • Escalate equipment malfunctions or deviations from cleaning standards
    • Support compliance with all regulatory standards including GMP, FDA, and OSHA
  • Team Support & Communication
    • Assist with training and onboarding of Sanitation Technician I team members
    • Provide input to improve sanitation procedures and workflows

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • 1-2 years of sanitation experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and equipment handling
  • Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct sanitation deficiencies
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Effective communicator and team collaborator
  • Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Physically able to work in wet or humid environments and around cleaning chemicals
