About the role

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the production area in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and QA pre-op protocols. This position will be required to use high pressure hose, chemical solutions, assemble/unassembled lines, and equipment as required for proper cleaning and sanitizing. This position must also clean equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceiling, lighting fixtures, fans, take out trash.

Responsibilities

• Use high pressure hose, chemical solutions, assemble/unassembled lines, and equipment as required for proper cleaning and sanitizing.
• Clean equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceiling, lighting fixtures, fans, take out trash.
• Obtain LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, PIT (if needed) training.
• Be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions.
• Perform tasks such as walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food processing or related field preferred.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety protocols.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
