Responsibilities
- Perform the safe disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of pumps, sanitary piping, processing equipment, and production line components.
- Operate and monitor Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems to ensure equipment meets food safety and sanitation standards.
- Safely handle and apply sanitation chemicals while following all chemical handling procedures and required PPE guidelines.
- Complete scheduled sanitation activities, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks.
- Inspect equipment during the sanitation process and promptly communicate mechanical or operational concerns to the supervisor or Maintenance.
- Identify, report, and assist in resolving food safety, quality, or equipment issues observed during sanitation activities.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, food safety requirements, and all Stratas Foods policies and procedures.
- Maintain production areas through cleaning of floors, drains, overhead structures, and other facility components to support a safe, sanitary, and audit-ready environment.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure equipment is cleaned, inspected, and ready for production startup.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience performing equipment sanitation, operating CIP systems, or working with production equipment is a plus.
- Basic computer skills required.

- Physical: Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights
